7th July Announcements

1. 7^th July 2012, Sabbath is a Day of Prayer and Fasting as well as World Day for Prayer for Children at risk/Parenting in all Churches and Companies.
2. The prayer weekend retreat will run from Friday 20^th July strictly at 17:00hrs to Sunday 22^nd July 2012 at Kalundu view community basic school. Fees: K30, 000 for participants and payments to be made through the church prayer band leaders. In preparations for this, all prayer band leaders to meet at Kafue Estates Church on 8^th July, time; 09:00hrs.
3. The District Communication department is in need of communication equipment i.e. Camera (Digital/Video), Laptop and Printer (Urgently needed). Donations and contributions are welcome.
4. The youths will be having a Bible conference from 20^th to 22^nd July 2012 at Kabweza basic school, fees are K50, 000.
5. The Ambassadors will have an outing to Munda Wanga on 29^th July 2012, fees: K45, 000.
6. Study guides (Sabbath School) are now available at Anchor House, Lusaka.  Please order through your Sabbath School Supretendents or district Sabbath School leaders.
7. The General Conference came up with an initiative on Revival and Reformation. Therefore every Adventist worldwide is expected to read at least one chapter each day and you are likely to finish the whole Bible by the year 2015. Today’s chapter is Exodus 32.
8. All churches are reminded to start working on their camp meeting offering goals, local church treasurers to communicate and submit necessary documents for the same to the District Treasurer. Camp Meeting Expense goals to be given in time in order to commence camp meeting preparations. 
9. The District Baptism goal this year is 1, 183 souls and each church is expected to Baptize not less than 90 souls.

10. There will be a music camp meeting at Mundengwa from 7^th to 15^th Oct 2012. All singing groups are invited to attend. Fees: K50, 000 per person.

11. Camp meeting Auditions for Urban churches will be on 8^th July 2012 at Estates church while those for Rural churches will be held on 15^th July 2012. Time is 08:00hrs for both.

12. All announcements to reach the department by Wednesday. Latest Wednesday noon, anything that comes after will appear in the next publication. Note; Take this as an official notification.

13. All local church/district camp meeting committee members to meet at Mungu on Sunday ,08/07/12
